The staff and management of Kilburn Pharmacy invite the community to join them on 24 March at the Kilburn Shopping Centre, Discovery, from 8am to 1pm.
They will be hosting their first wellness day, and Johan Vermeulen, the pharmacy manager, said, “Kilburn Pharmacy serves the community every year with the change of seasons to assist in the wellbeing of the elderly as well as those who do not have a medical aid. This year our first wellness day will also be a relaunch, celebrating our return to the Alpha Pharm Franchise.”
The following services will be available on the day:
• Free blood pressure tests
• Free glucose tests for the first 100 people
• Free weight and Body Mass Index (BMI) measurements
• Discovery Vitality assessments
• Bankmed Health assessments
• Cholesterol tests at R50 each
• Flu vaccinations at R79,95
• Flu vaccinations for pensioners at R64,94
Johan added that all of the above services will be available while stocks last. “Come meet our friendly staff on this wonderful community day,” he concluded.
