Search party out in full force again today

The search for the missing three-year-old boy who went missing from Roodekrans on 16 March is still ongoing.

It is believed that Liyaqat Akeem Mentoor ‘Lee’ might have been abducted by a couple driving a Silver Volkswagen Polo. The woman, who has long dark hair, claimed to be family of him.
According to a Facebook post on the Roodepoort crime reaction unit’s Facebook page, a search party has been out in full force yesterday (17 March).

The search took place in the mountain and fields surrounding Roodekrans, and the search party consisted of 70 community patrollers, 10 security members, two paramedics, four police members and one police dog.

It just showed that everybody can still stand together,” the post read.
The post went on to thank the community members from Roodepoort, Eldorado Park, security companies, paramedics as well as the police members and the search and rescue dog who assisted in the search for the missing child.
It was confirmed that the search will go on today (18 March).
Liyaqat has a slender build with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. He has a birthmark on his chest. When last seen, he was wearing a thick grey winter jacket, a red top, black tracksuit pants and black rubber boots with a white sole.
