EXCLUSIVE: Kwaito star Brickz set to apply for bail after High Court petition victory

A reliable source indicated that Ndlovu was in court on Tuesday, 6 March to obtain a date for his bail application, which was then scheduled for 9 March.

Rape convict Sipho Ndlovu, commonly known as Brickz, the former star Kwaito musician, is expected to appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Friday, 9 March) for a bail application following an allegedly successful petition to the High Court.

Ndlovu’s Defence is said to have petitioned the High Court and his bid was successful.

A reliable source has indicated that Ndlovu was in court on Tuesday, 6 March to obtain a date for his bail application, which was then scheduled for 9 March.

Last year, Ndlovu was sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment after he was found guilty of raping a then 16 year old, known to be his niece, in 2013. He appealed his sentence, but failed.
