It will be a busy weekend for Ward 71, as councillor René Benjamin will be hosting two events. Be sure not to miss out.
On Friday, 16 February, the community is urged to engage in the A Re Sebetseng clean-up campaign. It will take place between Poplar and Jacaranda Streets, Lindhaven at 3:30pm. You are welcome to bring your own garden tools, but if you don’t have any, just bring yourself and a friend.
Then on Saturday, 17 February, the Arts and Culture festival will take place at the Witpoortjie Community Centre, starting at 9am. Sadly, the closing date for entries has passed, but now we get to watch the stars perform. Category winners will go through to the Gauteng Festival which is scheduled for 30 June.
Get ready for an epic weekend.
