Fuel price to go down once again in March

More good news in the wake of Zuma's resignation.

Motorists can expect a further welcome drop in fuel prices in March.

This is according to the Automobile Association (AA), commenting on unaudited mid-month fuel price data released by the Central Energy Fund.

The drop can be attributed to a steady decline in international fuel prices as well as a reasonably stable rand against the dollar. The AA said the resignation of Jacob Zuma most likely also played a role in the rand strengthening.

Petrol is expected to go down by 28c a liter, diesel by 36c and illuminating paraffin by 21c.
