Just in: Shootout between reaction officers and suspects
Forensic team currently on scene.
Two suspects have been arrested after an alleged botched armed robbery which led to a shootout between them and Apcan Security reaction officers.
A third suspect, believed to have been shot in the leg, is still at large in the Roodekrans area. He is wearing a white shirt and blue overall trousers.

The chase started in Halite Street with the security officers hot on the heels of the suspects. In Serrisa Street, the suspects were trapped by members of DMS Security. The suspects shot at the Apcan Security officers who returned fire and hit the criminals’ vehicle. They subsequently lost control of the vehicle and tried to flee on foot. Two were arrested by DMS Security and there is currently a manhunt on for the third suspect.
The vehicle was hijacked in Kempton Park last night.
Residents are advised to be vigilant and not confront the suspect as he is believed to be jumping walls.
