Multiple stabbing victim discovered in bloodbath

It is unclear what led to the incident or how long the man had been lying in the pool of blood.

A man was rushed to hospital after being found lying in a pool of blood during the morning of 8 February on Florin Road in Strubens Valley.

It is unclear what led to the incident or how long the man had been lying in the pool of blood. Maggie Bezuidenhout from SRT Security, the company that responded to the incident, indicated that he had been stabbed several times in the back.

“This morning, we received a call from a resident who saw the man lying on the pavement, covered in blood,” said Bezuidenhout.

Given that the man was unconscious, he could not answer any questions about the incident, but it appeared that he was not from the surrounding suburb.

Bezuidenhout added that QRS ambulance services were called to assist. They stabilised the victim and took him to a hospital, and police were notified about the matter.
