The Metro Police are appealing to the public to be on the lookout for a silver grey Suzuki Swift that was involved in a robbery during the afternoon of 7 February (yesterday).
Dirk Moolman’s domestic worker, who had about R4 400 in cash on her, was walking along Sonop Street to Horizon Village when the incident took place. The vehicle in question suddenly stopped and two males and a female jumped out, grabbed the worker from behind and robbed her of the cash. Moolman and the Metro Police chased the vehicle but lost it close to Sunshine Wholesalers in the Roodepoort CBD.

The vehicle’s registration is HB 93 LZ GP.
