Domestic worker tied up during house robbery

Police stated that a PlayStation, laptop and other valuables were taken.

 

A house robbery is being investigated by Honeydew Police after a domestic worker was dragged and tied up on 2 February.

Police spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan, who confirmed the probe, said the incident happened in Randpark Ridge where the helper was in the kitchen when she heard a loud noise.

“When she went to check where the noise was coming from, she came across two males who dragged her to the bedroom and tied her up,” said Muthan.

Muthan explained that a PlayStation, laptop and other valuables were taken. He also indicated that there was no forced entry, no shots were fired and no injuries reported. He concluded by saying that it was unclear how the suspects fled the scene.
