A resident complained to Northsider after witnessing thousands of litres of clean water going to waste from a burst pipe in Strubens Valley. He said the water has been gushing from it along Confidence Street since Sunday morning (4 February) and JW has done nothing to stop it.

The resident told Northsider that he had logged the complaint at 2am on Sunday and was issued a reference number, but no repairs have been done. He said some residents have allegedly run out of water due to the problem.

Johannesburg Water has been approached for comment.
