Orientation weekend fizzes with fun activities

Playing water sports outside, and having a bonfire and sokkie night, were some of the activities enjoyed during the Orientation weekend.

A weekend orientation camp for the Grade 8 learners at King’s School West Rand left fun-filled memories as the learners spent time mingling with their new prefects.

The school’s prefects aim to lead the learners into unity amongst each other, despite their differences.

From standing in military line-ups to pranks in the early hours of the morning, to playing water sports outside, and having a bonfire and sokkie night, the learners enjoyed every moment.

“They had some serious times and some seriously fun times, but may they never forget the lessons they learnt or the fun they had over that weekend,” said Michelle Dos Ramos, the school’s marketing coordinator.
