“If you can dream it, you can live it”

Sifiso is paving ways to the entertainment industry.

The sky is the limit for model Sfiso Nkosi – he’s going all out to leave his mark on the entertainment industry.

Sfiso was born in Dobsonville, and moved to Witpoortjie in 2001 with his parents. He attended Laerskool Culembeeck Primary School, and then went to West Ridge High School.

“I fell in love with modelling in 2009, when I entered Mr and Miss West Ridge. Unfortunately I didn’t not win that year, but that motivated me to do better the following year. I had that hunger to win. It was then that I began to search for a modelling coach/ agent.

I was signed up by KS Modelling Academy and taught how to walk, how to structure my body and how to pose. I entered again and won the title of Mr Freshette 2012,” he said.

“In 2015, I auditioned to be a model in the well-known Soweto Fashion Week and by God’s grace I was chosen. After that, doors just opened for me. I modelled at the Mercedes-Benz and South Africa fashion weeks and featured on numerous music videos. I was also show-cased at the Fashion meets Gospel show,” he added.

Sfiso is currently signed with Blaze Models and is also a brand ambassador for a beard product called Samson’s Oil. Besides that, he is an aspiring actor who loves photography, hiking and music.

His message to the youth is: “If you want to make it in this industry, you first have to have self love, be confident in your own skin and be able to take positive criticism, because you learn and grow from it.”
