The contractors for the F46 Rand Water project Section B would like to inform residents about blasting operations scheduled to be performed on Wednesday, 31 January between 1pm to 2pm on 9th Avenue in Weltevreden Park opposite the Total service station. Rugby Street will also be affected.
All traffic will be stopped shortly before blasting starts.

The community liaison of the pipeline project, Jon von der Heyde said the process will take no longer than a few minutes.
“We recommend keeping sensitive pets indoors for the duration of the blasting, and regret the inconvenience caused,” he said.
