Theuns Grobler who stands accused of illegally being in possession of firearms, briefly appeared in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court this morning (30 January).
The case has once again been postponed for further investigation.

Outside the court friends and family expressed their dismay saying Grobler, better known as Grobbies, is the victim of a vendetta by investigating officer Captain Ben Booysen. According to a family member neither the current charge nor the rumoured ones in the pipeline, will stick.

“It’s unbelievable; Grobbies is such a good Christian and tithes every month. He helps so many people,” said a woman.
Grobler is also a person of interest in the Robert Klinkenberg murder case.
