Constantia’s Grade 1s start the year two-by-two

Constantia Kloof Primary School was full of smiles and excitement on the first day of school.

This year, Constantia Kloof Primary School welcomed not one, not two, not three, but four pairs of twins to their Grade 1 group.

Many Grade 1s couldn’t wait to make new friends as they got to know each other on the first day.

Enock and Joseph Mukomba were little bundles of mischief on their first day.

As per usual, some were also quite reserved, but the general consensus was excitement to finally be in ‘big school’.

Some of the twins seemed telepathically connected, as wherever the one went, the other followed.

Gabion and Declan Vorstenbosch couldn’t wait to meet new friends in their new classes.

The others however, seemed the perfect pairing, with one being shy and the other already preparing to become the class clown.

The school, now close to 1 200 learners, has a lot planned for the year and is ready to take on the challenge that is 2018.

Liam and Leysha Govender were shy until they put on their biggest smiles for the camera.
