Boxes of cellphones stolen during hijacking

According to Captain Balan Muthan, spokesperson for the station, a vehicle was hijacked at about 10.30am while doing deliveries.

 

Honeydew Police are investigating a case of hijacking on Ben Crescent in Cosmo City Ext 9 on 5 January.

Three attackers that were travelling in a black Corsa bakkie and a grey Polo Vivo stole nine boxes of cellphones from the victims. One of the thugs was armed with a firearm.

No arrests have been made as yet.
