Meet our new journalist

'Writing is my first love and I have always been a verbal newspaper,'

New member to the Caxton family

Hello people, my name is Lungi Ndimande. I was born in Dobsonville but lived in Roodepoort my whole life. I attended Laerskool Culembeeck Primary and Hoërskool Die Adelaar.

I was a Representative Council of Learners (RCL) member from Grade 10 to 12. I also played hockey and netball for the school. I graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a qualification in Public Relations and Communication. I am known to be a people’s person because of my bubbly personality.

Writing is my first love and I have always been a verbal newspaper, that’s why I’m very glad to have joined the Caxton (Roodepoort Record) family as a journalist. I am looking forward to working with the community and giving a voice to their stories.

I will be covering local government and as well as general news. Please feel free to contact me for stories, I will be more than happy to hear from you.

My telephone number is 011 591 3750 and my email address is lungin@caxton.co.za.
