Judgement day for Pelser

Judgement to be handed down

Magistrate Delize Smith started passing judgement in the Marthinus Pelser murder case at about 10am.

When Pelser, who stands accused of having murdered his six-month-old son in 2016, took to the stand he arrogantly asked the photographers, “How many photos do you want?”.

Smith then started summarising the evidence and the case. She indicated that the entire day had been set aside for judgement to be handed down.
