Honeydew CPF to hold a special elective meeting

This meeting will take place next month in the boardroom at the Honeydew Police Station at 6.30pm.

A special election meeting hosted by the Honeydew Community Policing Forum is expected to take place on 6 February to fill the vacancies in the Honeydew CPF Executive.

This meeting will be held in the boardroom at the Honeydew Police Station at 6.30pm. Each CPF sub-forum (Sector) may nominate two candidates for positions on the executive committee. Nominees need to be persons of good standing in the community.

The CPF admin officer, Carmel Wassman said the nominees will have to undergo a vetting process and will be required to submit fingerprints for a criminal check. She added that nominations for the positions on the executive committee duly dated, signed and seconded must be emailed or handed in at the CPF admin office no later than midday on 29 January. “This will enable the CPF admin office to draft CVs of those nominated for the positions in the Honeydew CPF executive and circulate the draft form to each Sector for the purpose of electing the executive,” she explained, adding that the completed form will be emailed on 30 January.
