Honeydew TRT members take up #Omunye dance challenge

Distruction boyz’ hit single Omunye Phezuko munye is apparently the dance track on everyone’s sound system and a club banger for this summer.
This Gqom track, which has been making waves since the beginning of November, has seen local celebrities and music fans taking part in a YouTube dance challenge entitled #Omunyechallenge. The dance challenge seems to have gained lots of popularity. This was proven after a photo surfaced on social media of Honeydew Police Station TRT members who were snapped while apparently taking part in the challenge.
The trio was snapped at the station while executing a never-seen-before type of dance move or exercise. The photo went viral and social media users titled it after the hit song.
When the police were asked to comment on the photo, Honeydew Police spokesperson, Captain Balan Muthan said the members were probably training but he could not comment on their behalf. He then referred the Northsider to the provincial police.
Provincial police spokesperson, Lieutenant Kay Makhubela, said he would have to try to find out who the members are and ask them what they were doing.
Distruction boyz have since released their long-anticipated music video of Omunye Phezuko munye which features the likes of Khanyi Mbau, Benny Maverick and Dladla Mshunqisi, who is the leading vocalist.
