Three suspects wanted for house robbery and attempted murder

It is alleged that the 26-year-old victim was at home with his wife, sleeping, when they were accosted by three unknown males with firearms.

 

Muldersdrift Police are investigating a case of attempted murder and house robbery that occurred on 7 of December.

It is alleged that the 26-year-old victim was at home with his wife sleeping when they were accosted by three unknown males with firearms.

According to the police spokesperson Warrant Officer Masedi Masedi, it is alleged that the suspects forced the door opened and shot the male and the suspects fled the scene with a cellphone.

“The victim was taken to hospital for medical treatment,” he indicated.

Masedi also indicated that the station commander was not pleased with this kind of behaviour.

“Muldersdrift Police Station commander Lieutenant Colonel Mankontsho Abram Setlhare condemns this kind of attack in the area. We are appealing to the community to assist with any information that could assist in arresting the suspects involved in this crime,” Masedi appealed.
