Outdoor fun at Botanical Garden

SANBI hosted a Christmas Carols and Market outdoor event.

It was almost a challenge for park enthusiasts to choose which activity to enjoy first from the large number that were on offer at the refreshing Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden in Poortview from 2 to 3 December.

The garden, a venue favoured by many for wedding photo shoots, was a hive of activity when the entity hosted its Christmas Carols and Market outdoor event which was supported by more than 20 stallholders and various bands, such as the Soweto Marimba Youth League.

The sunny, clear blue sky played a huge role in keeping the visitors comfortable at the venue for many hours. The little ones enjoyed inflatable toys while the parents scoured the variety of stalls looking for bargains and took walks around the garden, observing the beautiful scenery it offers.
