Infamous Toyota Fortuner found abandoned

When authorities arrived at the scene, they realised that the abandoned vehicle was the Toyota Fortuner implicated in a recent spate of car-jamming incidents in the area.

 

The notorious white Toyota Fortuner that the authorities have been looking for, was found this morning, 23 November, in Florida Park.

EC Security’s Norman Mphilo told Northsider that security companies and police received an alert about an abandoned vehicle on Adelaide Avenue near Christiaan de Wet Road.

Upon arriving at the scene, Mphilo realised that the vehicle was the Toyota Fortuner involved in a spate of car-jamming incidents in the area.

“The Fortuner had collided with another vehicle, and the occupants abandoned it. They apparently decided to hijack another vehicle in order to flee the area.

The second hijacked vehicle was later found elsewhere, without the wanted suspects,” Mphilo explained.

Police are at the scene, and law enforcement is still in pursuit of the occupants who now believed to be on the run, on foot.
