Man killed in hit-and-run

The man showed no signs of life.

A man, believed to be in his 30s, was killed yesterday evening (12 November) following an apparent hit-and-run incident at the Kilburn Street and Paul Kruger Avenue in Discovery.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services found the lifeless body or a man lying in the middle of the intersection. They immediately initiated CPR and advanced life support interventions in an effort to him. Unfortunately, after some time, no vital signs returned and the man was declared dead.

The vehicle that had hit the man allegedly left the scene.

Local authorities were on the scene to investigate the incident.
