Vehicle collision leaves four injured

The four patients sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate, according to ER24.

 

A collision involving a bakkie and light motor vehicle near the Hendrik Potgieter Road and Nic Diederichs Boulevard intersection in Strubens Valley on 25 October has left four people injured.

ER24’s Russel Meiring said paramedics arrived on the scene to find both the bakkie and a light motor vehicle in the middle of the road.

“The occupants had already climbed out of the vehicles and were found walking around on the scene.”

“Paramedics assessed the patients, two men and two women, and found that they had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate,” Meiring explained.

He added that the patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
