The incident happened at Saverite on Krugerrand Road, according to Maggie.

Maggie also told Northsider that the man was identified as an employee of a nearby car wash.

Maggie said the owner of the car wash confirmed knowing the man and agreed to the arrest because he has had incidents of theft at the carwash before.

“SAPS Honeydew was contacted and opened a case of theft and detained the suspect,” Maggie concluded.
