City Power technicians are on site attending to a power outage that is affecting some areas in Roodepoort. The power went off at about 8am.
Residents have reported a power outage in Ruimsig, Strubens Valley, Weltevreden Park and Honeydew. City Power spokesperson, Sol Masolo said, “The outage is due to an overload on the mini-substation supplying Ruimsig. Power should be restored during the course of the day.”
