Collision near Muldersdrift leaves one dead
The driver of the car sustained severe injuries and died at the scene.
A motorist died tragically on the morning of 4 October following a horrific head-on collision involving a light vehicle and a truck.
A report from Netcare 911’s media liaison officer, Nick Dollman, indicated that the collision occurred on the M5 (extension of Beyers Naudé Drive) approximately one kilometre past the N14 highway, on the way to Muldersdrift.

“Paramedics attended to the two drivers, but the driver of the car had sustained severe injuries and died at the scene. The driver of the truck was uninjured and required no medical care,” said Dollman.
Dollman added that Emergency Services including Police, Fire Fighters and rescue personnel were at the scene and had to close the entire road until the scene had been investigated and cleared.
