A Witpoortjie mother is pleading with community members to help find her 16-year-old daughter.
According to Sonet Barnard, Mizandri Nagel was last seen at Sonet’s Witpoortjie home on the afternoon of 28 September. “Mizandri lives with my parents in Lindhaven, but asked if she could stay at my house for the day, and I said it was okay.
My sister, who was also at home, told me that Mizandri spent the day washing her clothes, and left the house at about 2 pm with a duffel bag,” Barnard said.
She said that she talked to her daughter on the phone on Friday morning, 29 September, but by the afternoon the phone was switched off. “The fact that she left the house with a bag full of clothes makes me think this was planned, but, you can never really know,” said a disheartened Barnard.

Mizandri is 1,63 metres tall, has a slender build with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She has piercings in her ears and wears a belly ring.
