Policeman murdered in CBD
In an attempt to break up a fight, he was stabbed.
A Roodepoort Police member was stabbed to death last night in Roodepoort’s central business district (CBD).

Although the details are still sketchy, station commander, Brigadier Manala, told the Record the incident took place after a member was called out to a complaint about a fight. In an attempt to break up the fight outside the After Party nightclub in Van Wyk Street, he was stabbed.
At this stage it is not sure whether he died on the scene or later.
