Suspects nabbed in high-speed chase
A suspect was arrested on 26 September on Hendrik Potgieter Road, following a high-speed vehicle chase.
The suspect was nabbed near the Hillfox Shopping Centre in Weltevreden Park where the wanted vehicle, an orange Ford ST, caused an accident. It is said that the suspect was travelling with two accomplices who fled the scene after the car crash.
The suspect was arrested after being found hiding under a piece of cardboard on the embankment nearby.

Reports also indicate that the suspects were chased from Krugersdorp where they apparently committed two house robberies.
Traffic was backed up on Hendrik Potgieter Road as different police units and security personnel attempted to track down the other suspects.
The wrecked escape vehicle is currently being searched by the police at the scene.
