Sarda’s AGM shows positive growth

Ongoing fundraising is essential to keep up with rising costs.

Reports from the South African Riding for the Disabled Association (Sarda) Gauteng annual general meeting showed positive growth in the last year.

The meeting, held on 16 September at The Earth Centre, was attended by Sarda Gauteng members and a few members of the public. The chairman’s and treasurer’s reports both mentioned the positive growth and change in the centre.

It was also noted that costs are rising and the need for ongoing funding is essential as is the need for regular volunteers to continue on Sarda’s journey of creating Hope through Horses.

One long-standing member, Lindal Cressy, who has been on the committee for many years, thanked the voluntary management team for all their time and input in creating the progress seen.
