The third suspect was also believed to be wounded but managed to escape.
According to Muthan, of the two deceased suspects, one was shot in the head and the other in the chest.

Muthan revealed that the motorist was travelling with his wife when they were approached by the suspects.

“When he stopped at the robots as the light was red, he stated that ‘suddenly unknown men appeared, two on the passenger side, one on the driver’s side and pulled out the driver while the two pushed his wife in [the car],” said Muthan.

The trio tried to succeed in the hijacking by using a toy gun which was found at the scene.

The victim probably realised the gun was fake and pulled out a real one on them.

The motorist has been approached for comment to give his side of the story but no avail at this stage.

“The victim then shot one suspect in the head fatally, the other one in the chest and was taken to hospital while the other one ran away with shot wounds,” Muthan explained.

Unconfirmed details have emerged that the third suspect died on his escape. However, Muthan could not confirm the allegation.

Upon search, a cellphone of the victim was found in one of suspects’ pockets, Muthan stated.

He concluded to say that the names of the suspects are unknown at this stage.
