An apparent hijacking accomplice was shot and killed by his victim this evening on the Christiaan de Wet Road and Rinyani Street intersection.

The victim, who turned hero, allegedly opened fire on three men who attempted to hijack him and his vehicle.
The hijacking went completely wrong as one of the suspects died at the scene while one was wounded and died on the way to hospital, the third is believed to be wounded and got away.

The suspects pointed a toy gun at the victim (pictured below)
Paramedics, police and other law enforcement agencies are currently at the scene investigating the matter.
