Three-vehicle collision left five injured

According to an ER24 report, paramedics found that two people sustained serious injuries and three had sustained minor injuries in the accident.

 

A collision involving three vehicles on Hendrik Potgieter Road, on Sunday, 17 September, landed five people in hospital after they sustained a range of injuries.

According to an ER24 report, paramedics found that two people had sustained serious injuries and three had sustained minor injuries.

When medics arrived on scene at 2.20pm, they found one patient trapped in the vehicle. The Jaws of Life had to be used to free the victim. Upon further assessment, the patient was found to be in a serious condition.

More details indicated that another patient was found to be in a serious condition and three others sustained minor injuries.

ER24 transported the patients to nearby hospitals for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
