A man was killed when he was knocked down by a vehicle on the N14 just after Beyers Naude Drive in Muldersdrift.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene at 1pm on Saturday, 26 August, the man, believed to be 30 years old, was found lying in front of a vehicle. Unfortunately, there was nothing paramedics could do for the man and he was declared dead on the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not yet known but police were on scene for further investigations.
