Dogs teach Trinityhouse kids new tricks

Trinityhouse Pre-Primary school learned how brilliant dogs can be in Dogzcool's Incredible Dog Show.

Trinityhouse Little Falls Pre-Primary was recently treated to an exciting fur-filled morning with Dogzcool’s Incredible Dog Show.

Dogzcool is a company owned and run by Lloyd Bristow, a specialist trainer of different kinds of dogs that perform incredible tricks. The Incredible Dog Show is educational, motivational and inspirational and a whole lot of fun. The Pre-Primary School sat in awe as Cool Dog, Kindle, Hero, Shine, Jet and Daz performed some amazing feats on 22 August.

Not only was it exciting to watch but some of the learners got to play games with the dogs and even helped a dog spell a word. Most importantly, the children learned about dogs, how important it is to take care of and nurture your pets, where we should take them when they’re sick and what is the right amount of time and food we should give our dogs to keep them healthy.

The learners also learned how to approach a dog when you want to pet it, and how it is important to ask the dog’s owner if you are allowed to pet their dog to keep from getting hurt.

Teacher Belinda, from the Giraffe Class, said, “It was a brilliant show that highlighted clever and well-trained dogs. I wished I could take every one of them home. The level of performance from these animals was incredible. The trainer was amazing; so gifted with the dogs.

I loved how he taught the kids how to take care of their own dogs as well.”
