Fun and games with Agape

Agape Christian School fundraiser a fun day for all.

Agape Christian School recently held one of their most anticipated events of the year, the school’s annual fun day.

It is the highlight of the year for the learners, who get to enjoy the thrill of a variety of jumping castles and swings, and played party games to win prizes. Each teacher was responsible for a game stall, and stood a chance to win a prize for the best decorated stall.

A local DJ kept everyone moving to the beat and a dance group from Cape Town, Pheumatix, also entertained the crowds.

Families could participate in the potjiekos competition on the day or peruse the stalls or relax in the tea garden. Actor Leroy Gopaul had people in stitches as the master of ceremonies.

“Even though it is a fundraiser it really is about our families building memories on the day. Ex-pupils also visit us on the day,” said Theresa Jennings, the school secretary.
