Winter market at Walter Sisulu Botanical Garden

Enjoy the day at the winter market

Still wondering what to do on Saturday? Why not visit the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden’s winter market?

The market will take place on 5 August at the gardens in Malcolm Road, Poortview, from 9am to 4pm (the garden will be open from 8am to 6pm) and promises visitors an enjoyable experience.

Michelle van Zyl, the organiser of the market said, “We already have 25 confirmed vendors who will be taking part in the market, ranging from food vendors to arts and crafts.

“There will be pancakes, boerewors rolls, Indian food, health goodies, dreamcatchers, wall decor, hot chillies, plants, bird feeders and much more.”

She added that there will also be a children’s entertainment area that will offer jumping castles (for free and at own risk), sand art, kuns kabouters, arts, ceramic plates and a host of other activities.
