Finding treasure in trash
I want to prove to the community that unemployment is not the end of the road and that there is always a solution if you are brave enough,”
Being determined and working hard are among the characteristics that set people apart. Keneth Dipeko has them.
He has shown that no matter how large or small the setback is, you slowly work towards overcoming it. The 27-year-old always dreamt about starting his own construction company, which he managed to do.
Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances led to the closure of his company and he was forced back to the drawing board. He had to come up with alternatives to make money and decided to wash bins.
Kenneth goes door to door in Unified and Florida, availing this service.
“I go from house to house to wash bins. This is my way of making money because at the moment I have no alternative. It is hard at times because some people think I am up to no good, which is dispiriting. But, by doing this,
I want to prove to the community that unemployment is not the end of the road and that there is always a solution if you are brave enough,” he said.
