A foetus was found in a rubbish bin outside a residence on Cornelius Road in Weltevreden Park yesterday morning (10 July).
ER24 paramedics went to the scene at approximately 7am after having been alerted by local security members. They found the foetus inside the rubbish bin but it showed no signs of life.

Unfortunately, there was nothing paramedics could do to save its life.
Local authorities were on the scene to investigate.
