Two pedestrians killed in two incidents
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, a large gathering was standing around the man.
A man, believed to be in his late 20s, was killed on the R28 Randfontein road on Sunday evening (9 July).
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, a large group of people was standing around the victim. He was found lying on the shoulder of the road. Sadly, nothing could be done for the man and he was declared dead on scene by ER24.
It is believed that he was killed in a hit-and-run incident.

In a second incident on the same evening, a man believed to be in his 30s, was killed by a vehicle on the N14 South, just before Wierda Road in Centurion .
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene at 8.07pm, a man was found lying in the fast lane. The vehicle that had apparently hit the man was parked a few meters away.
Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done for this man either and he was also declared dead on scene by ER24.
The exact details surrounding the two incidents are not yet known to our paramedics, but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
