Households near Panorama Primary School and in surrounding areas are currently experiencing power outages.
Residents have taken to social media to raise awareness about which streets are affected. These posts indicate that Kloofhout Turn, Adamson Crescent, Matumie Avenue, Theunis Street and the roads immediately around the school have been without power for at least an hour.

City Power has acknowledged that it is aware of the problem and will send a consultant to attend to the outage.

Sydney Mphahlele, spokesperson for City Power, confirmed that technicians have been dispatched. The cause of the outage is unknown at this time. He explained that technicians normally take about four hours to resolve this type of fault.
