Hole in One Boutique Hotel and Conference Centre recently hosted the Battle of the Bands. More than 800 people attended the event which catered for everyone with 24 different stalls. Singer Amore Vittone was the Master of Ceremonies as well as one of the judges of the competition, alongside musician Joe Black who entertained the crowds during the break. The event also drew celebrities such as boxer Hekkie Buddler, who showed off his title belts to fans. Hole in One Boutique Hotel and Conference Centre sold more than 250 pizzas on the day, ensuring that all guests were entertained and fed throughout the day.
Holistic Health and Interface Digital sponsored the prizes for the top three bands.
Rohan and Band won the Battle of the Bands and walked away with more than R20 000 in prizes which include a website and app developed by Interface Digital. In second place was The Capitals followed by Wolwe Dans in third position. Both these bands also walked away with prizes and vouchers for their performances.
Interface Digital’s Brandon Faber said their aim was to support South African musicians with digital services.
“We are proud to have been involved with such an event and are very happy to sponsor and work with the winners, Rohan and Band. We are also looking forward to being involved with the event in the future,” he said.
Hole in One Boutique Hotel and Conference Centre will host a Beer Festival in October.
