Florida CPF 2 aims for one of the drug problem’s roots

High unemployment rate contributing to the problem.

Florida CPF 2 will now be targeting one of the main contributing factors in the drug scourge – the high unemployment rate.

They have issued the following request:

“With the current drug situation in Florida, as well as the high unemployment rate, we as Florida CPF members are requesting the parents of our youth to get them actively involved in youth programmes in order to keep them off the streets.

“We are appealing to parents with unemployed youth aged 18–25 to get them involved in the Florida CPF Youth Crime Prevention Programme, which is also known as the Youth Desk.

“They will be required to assist the CPF in working directly with the police on activities and programmes of action for all youth under the Florida Policing precinct.”
