No more donations for Knysna needed

Further donations will be given to those in need in the community

The cutoff time for bringing donations towards the #KnysnaFires to the Caxton Joburg West office has been set at 4.30pm today.

“We are grateful for the community’s generosity, and want to thank them for all the donated items.

We will be accepting the last donations today, as Knysna has confirmed that they are overwhelmed by the amount of goods they have already received, and are still receiving,” said Jeanette Peach, the branch manager at the Caxton Joburg West office.

However, should community members still feel the need to donate something, any toiletries and non-perishable foods (for humans and animals) will gladly be accepted. Unfortunately, clothing donations will no longer be accepted. “There is a huge need in our own community too, and all donations not used for the#KnysnaFires will be given to these people and local non-profit organisations,” Jeanette said.
