Car and taxi collides on Golf Club Terrace

Twelve people sustained minor to moderate injuries when a VW Polo and a taxi collided at the intersection of Goldman Street and Golf Club Terrace during the early hours of this morning (13 June).
ER24 paramedics found the taxi lying on its side. Ten of its passengers and the driver were lying outside the taxi and the driver of the Polo was found next to his vehicle.

ER24 transported six of the injured to Helen Joseph Hospital for further medical care.
Another six patients were transported to nearby hospitals by other emergency services that also attended the scene.
Local authorities will be investigating this incident.
