Florida CPF Sector 2 issues warning

Toyota Hilux bakkie stolen when victim fell prey to ruse.

Florida CPF Sector 2 has urged residents to exercise extreme caution when strangers call them to their gates or doors with any request.

According to the warning posted on their Facebook page residents should refrain from giving them food, pens, the time or water, and not answer questions to ‘surveys’.

These criminals use any excuse to gain access your premises and rob you.

A house robbery occurred yesterday (23 May) after criminals had requested a pen from a homeowner. When the lady reached through the gate to hand them the pen, they struck. A Toyota Hilux and other valuables from the home were taken, the CPP said.
