Some areas in Roodepoort will be without power as City Power is planning yet another outage over the weekend.
The interruption will be on 28 May from 6am to 2pm and the following areas will be affected:
• Weltevreden Park
• Discovery
• Wilgeheuwel
• Ruimsig
• Constantia Kloof
• Honeydew
• Strubens Valley
• Helderkruin
• Ontdekkers Park
• Laser Park
• Horizon View
• Roodekrans
• Amarosa
According to City Power, the interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on the network, which forms part of their programme to improve service delivery to their customers.
“We urge customers to treat their electrical supply points as live at all times, as the electricity may be restored at any time – without warning,” the entity said.
City Power apologises for any inconvenience caused by this interruption. Should customers have any queries or need clarification on this matter, they should contact the call centre on 0860 562 874.
