Trinityhouse hosts a pizza party extravaganza

LITTLE FALLS – Trinityhouse Little Falls celebrates International Pizza Party Day.

For the first time in its history, Trinityhouse Little Falls, spoiled their learners with a huge pizza party.

The party was in celebration of International Pizza Party Day, which was held on 19 May. Panarottis (Cresta, Clearwater and Keywest), Dominoes and Angelo’s came to the party and donated enough pizzas for the high school, preparatory school and staff.

The pre-school used the day as a lesson for their children and asked them to make their own pizzas, using slices of bread, cheese, sausages and other toppings.

“This is our way of giving back to the community that supports us, and there is nothing like giving back to the children. Who knows, there might be children here who might grow up to own a Panarottis or become chefs,” said Wayne Addison, manager for Panarottis at the Zone.

“Our country is in turmoil and we need to show we care and adopt a pay it forward attitude, which is what we are doing today.”

Principal of the preparatory school, Karen Cammell, said, “I love it when there is something different we can add to the school day. This is what children will remember when they think back on their schooling. I can feel there is a definite buzz at school. It is a real treat.”

Lynne Davis, principal of the high school said, “Today is an opportunity for our pupils and staff to be spoilt. School is also about fun and celebration. We would like to thank the sponsors of the pizzas, as well as Adrienne Hadebe, our very own marketing lady, for organising the pizza party.”
